Andromeda is set up as a self-serve zoom room and utilizes the camera in the back of room pointed at the podium in addition to the Neat Board camera that faces the audience. If you need to you are able to stop the video or mute the audio using the Neat Pad controller or Neat Board.
Start a Zoom Meeting
Begin your meeting your meeting by using the Neat Pad in the back of the room or the Neat Board near the front of the room. You can begin a new meeting or join an existing meeting using these controllers or by pairing your laptop using the Zoom app.
Microphones
A microphone is required for remote participants to hear the audio. Microphones labeled 1 and 2 are located inside the cabinet on the right side. Press the button once to turn on the microphone and verify that a green light turns on and speak into the microphone to test.
Rear Camera Control
The camera in the back of the room can be controlled using the Fomaku remote located in the cabinet in the back of the room. Alternatively, if you are on the CL-STAFF wifi network and using the chrome browser you may browse to http://acam.cogo1k.com to control the camera using acam as the username and password.

Screen Share
You may share you screen using the Zoom Sharing Code displayed on the screen and browsing to share.zoom.us. If your laptop is paired or joined in with the meeting already you can share as normal.
If you're using a Mac and you are only needing to share to the screen and not zoom participants, you can share with native Air Play to the Andromeda room. Other clients should use the zoom sharing code.
Recording
You can start a recording of your Zoom meeting by using the recording button located on the controller. You will be prompted to enter an e-mail address for notification and download options once the meeting has finished. The room will announce that a recording has begun once activated.
Pair your Laptop with a Zoom Room
If you're using your laptop, you can pair with the room using the Zoom App using the icon near the top right of the app. Pairing with the Zoom room will allow you to start meeting or share you screen or audio with the zoom room. By default, when you a join a zoom room from your laptop your audio and video will be disabled.
The nearest Zoom room will appear in the drop down based on your proximity to the controller.
